It’s official! In his latest statement, Jalisco Governor Pablo Lemus announced the authorization to create an exclusive space for platforms to pick up users at Guadalajara Airport.
It will be a parking lot for the exclusive use of DiDi and Uber platform drivers . They will have direct access to the airport, allowing them to operate without any problems.

This space will be located on the road to Chapala (right at the roundabout heading towards the city), where users can request the service of their choice without any problems.
This project also includes an internal transportation system (owned by the airport) to transport people from the terminal to the parking lot.
The investment is estimated to have a budget of 20 million pesos, which will be used to level and prepare the space before the start of the 2026 World Cup.
