The Degollado Theater will host a very special performance of the zarzuela “El Orgullo de Jalisco.”
This musical gem, written nearly eight decades ago by composer Federico Moreno Torroba, comes back to life with a grand production that celebrates the identity, traditions, and essence of the people of Jalisco.

You’ll be able to enjoy more than 130 performers on stage, including the Jalisco Symphony Orchestra and the State Traditional Orchestra, who will accompany 11 singers and actors,
The cast is led by Canarian mezzo-soprano Nancy Fabiola Herrera, who plays Cristina, and baritone Luis Ledesma.
The stage direction is by Leopoldo Falcón, known as “The Zarzuela Man of Mexico.”
