If you love bee products or are simply looking for something different to do in August, mark your calendar. The fifth edition of the Zapopan Honey Fair is coming soon, featuring local producers, workshops, tastings, and activities for all ages.
Over the course of three days, you can learn more about the fascinating world of bees, discover the work of Jalisco’s beekeepers, and sample different types of honey, as well as find a wide variety of products.
The event takes placeon August 14, 15, and 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m . at Plaza Estación Zapopan (below the Zapopan Centro Light Rail station). Add this event to your list of things to do in August.

Among the wide range of activities will be: honey tastings, sales of bee products and byproducts, workshops, drawing and photography exhibitions, family activities, and free apitherapy.
It’s an ideal outing for families with children, as they’ll be able to learn more about pollination and enjoy a unique experience with free admission. For more information, check the social media pages of the Local Beekeepers’ Association of Guadalajara.
Plus, you’ll be able to directly support local producers and take home 100% natural honey, propolis, beeswax, and other products made by beekeepers in the region.
