The 2026 Tesistán Corn Festival: Much More Than Just Esquites and Grilled Corn on the Cob

While the classic grilled corn on the cob and esquites are always on the menu, you’ll also find a wide variety of recipes made with this grain.
Among the must-try items are cornbread, flan, jellies, ice cream, and other desserts that surprise attendees year after year.
Admission is free, but we recommend bringing cash for whatever you’d like to buy. Add this event to your list of things to do in August.
Don’t miss this festival celebrating one of Tesistán’s most beloved traditions. If you’d prefer to browse the stalls at a more leisurely pace, it’s best to visit during the week.
