Can you imagine six hours of top-notch cocktails, DJs, and views of the agave landscape? That’s what the party will be like to celebrate the eighth anniversary of Guadalajara’s iconic bar, El Gallo Altanero.
This Saturday, March 21, don’t miss this all-inclusive experience aboard the Tequila Express, one of Jalisco’s most iconic tours.
The tour departs from the Ferromex station. The train will travel the Guadalajara–La Quemada–Guadalajara route, passing through the stunning agave landscape.
But the real highlight is what happens on board the train: more than eight cars transformed into a party, featuring international and local bars, delicious cuisine, and plenty of music.
Celebrate El Gallo Altanero’s eighth anniversary with a great lineup

In terms of mixology, there will be an international presence with bartenders such as Nick Kennedy from Civil Liberties (Canada), Pablo Piñata from Chintonería (Argentina), and Martiny’s (New York).
Plus local bars like De la O, Farmacia Rita Pérez, Mecenas, Luperca, Grillo, Salón Candela, Bar Fandango, and Pare de Sufrir.
On the culinary side, participating chefs include Fede Gallo (La Matera), Óscar Segundo (Nejayote), Iván Ibarra (La Panga del Impostor), and Jafet Rojas from El Gallo Altanero.
And to keep the party going, the musical lineup includes DJ Fumakushi, DJ Agogótica, Set Vampicumbia, DJ Tachi Discos, DJ Cheto, and El Trío Mezcalero.
All this on a nonstop journey: six continuous hours of partying, drinks, and good food as the train winds through agave fields. Event for ages 18 and up.
