Plácido Domingo will give a concert in Guadalajara as part of the cultural activities for the 2026 World Cup.
The Spanish tenor will return to the city to give a special concert on June 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas.
The gala will be titled From Spain to Mexico: The Zarzuela That Unites Us and will be a celebration of the cultural ties between Spain and Mexico through zarzuela and Ibero-American music.

The gala will also feature soprano Anabel de la Mora, tenor Carlos Velázquez, and baritone Carlos López.
In addition, groups such as the Orquesta Típica de Jalisco, the Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán Femenil, and the Estudio de Ópera de Jalisco will join the event.
Tickets are now on sale on the venue’s website and range in price from $700 to $2,800 pesos.
