The May 2026 Cultural Festival is just around the corner . One of the city’s most important arts festivals is back with over 400 artists from countries like Germany, Australia, Austria, Canada, and more. We’ll tell you more!
There will be dozens of activities throughout Guadalajara at a total of 20 venues. Not sure what to see with so much on offer? Don’t worry, we’ve put together a list of the events we think are must-sees.

Contemporary Dance: Duck Pond (opening)

To kick off this great festival, go see this fun adaptation of Swan Lake by the Australian company Circa, which combines circus, humor, elegance, and feathers.
Dances by the Marie Chouinard Company

The Quebec dance company is coming with the premiere of its piece “Magnificat,” plus two more shows you won’t want to miss.
World premiere of En Juego by Vague de Cirque

The circus company from Quebec is also coming to premiere its show “En Juego,” and over the course of the festival, they’ll be performing at different locations throughout the city.
Performances by La Alternativa 360 All Stars

La Alternativa is back! Presented by the Australian company 360 All Stars, this spectacular show is sure to delight you.
Free concert by the Attacca Quartet

If you’re a music lover, this is the event for you! The two-time Grammy winners will be performing at one of the city’s most iconic venues.
The Sculpture Route

Don’t miss this incredible sculpture route featuring more than 80 sculptures by over 40 artists.
Rogelio Manzo Exhibition

Be sure to check out this exhibition by the talented artist Rogelio Manzo, which addresses the topic of soccerin a subtle way that’s relevant to our current context.
