The production of Matilda the Musical will have a performance in Guadalajara in 2026 as part of its tour in Mexico.
The play, based on the book by Roald Dahl, will be presented at the Telmex Auditorium on July 7, 2026.
The cast will be led by Jaime Camil in the role of Tronchatoro. Also appearing are Gloria Aura, Ricardo Margaleff, Verónica Jaspeado, and Gisela Sehedi.
Matilda the Musical comes to Guadalajara
A story about courage, imagination, and freedom that was a huge hit in the 1990s, the play follows Matilda, a very intelligent girl whose family doesn’t understand her.
Through her love of books and her curiosity, she discovers extraordinary abilities. At school, she must face the strict Headmistress Tronchatoro, with the support of her teacher, Miss Honey.
