As part of the 2026 World Cup, a new festival dedicated entirely to our state is coming to our city. It’s called Mundo Jalisco, and you won’t want to miss it.
A free experience taking place every Saturday and Sunday fromJune 13 to July 5 at Agua Azul Park.
You’ll find local cuisine, crafts, culture, nature, and free shows and workshops for the whole family.
The setting of Agua Azul Park complements the experience with spaces such as the butterfly garden, the orchid garden, and green areas ideal for family fun.
Mundo Jalisco: a journey through the talent of our state
One of the festival’s main attractions will be the participation of more than 100 artisans who will showcase pieces crafted using traditional techniques passed down from generation to generation.
Attendees will be able to admire works of canelo clay, Wixárika art, ceramics, papel picado, handmade jewelry, corn husk crafts, piteado, and many other cultural expressions.
In addition, there will be live demonstrations to get an up-close look at the creative processes and free workshops for children.
The most representative flavors
Cuisine will also play an important role. Producers from different regions will offer some of Jalisco’s most iconic flavors, such as jericallas, cajeta, rompope, traditional bread, typical sweets, honey, regional sauces, and artisanal beverages.
As part of the experience, visitors will receive a Mundo Jalisco Passport, which allows them to collect stamps for purchases made at the festival and redeem them for special experiences such as tequila, raicilla, and Tajín chili tastings.
Beer garden, music, and dance
The festival will also feature a cultural stage called El Mitote, which will host music and dance performances from different regions of Jalisco.
For those who enjoy craft beer, the festival will feature a Beer Garden with participating breweries such as Cervecería Minerva, Cervecería Loba, La Blanca, Zorra, and Pecado Capital.
