The giant screens at La Minerva will become a new option for enjoying the 2026 World Cup in Guadalajara.
Governor Pablo Lemus announced that this iconic city landmark will broadcast some of the most anticipated matches in the coming days.
The idea is for fans to gather to experience the excitement of the games and stay to celebrate. It will also help relieve some of the crowd pressure at the FIFA Fan Fest in the Historic Center.
For now, the confirmed matches that will be broadcast from there are:
- ⚽ Colombia vs. Democratic Republic of the Congo – June 23
- ⚽ Czech Republic vs. Mexico – June 24
- ⚽ Uruguay vs. Spain – June 26

La Minerva joins the various Fan Fests and World Cup venues already operating in the city, expanding the options for those who want to enjoy the matches away from home.
