As part of the activities surrounding the World Cup, giant ball sculptures will arrive at the most important points in Guadalajara and Zapopan.
This was announced by the State Entertainment Agency: “With urban art and local talent, monumental ball sculptures will take over the city’s most emblematic spaces.”
This project, promoted by Cultura Zapopan in conjunction with municipal governments, seeks to celebrate the identity, culture, and creativity of Jalisco.
The initiative seeks to involve communities in major international events through art and public space.

The sculptures will be placed in tourist areas and areas with high vehicle and pedestrian traffic, allowing thousands of people to see them every day.
You can also find them at iconic locations in the city, such as the Hospicio Cabañas, Paseo Chapultepec, and the Rotonda de los Hombres Ilustres.
The pieces will be made of fiberglass and will be decorated by more than a dozen local urban artists.
All the details will be available in the coming days. For more information, check the agency’s social media accounts.
