The Department of Tourism organizes free tours to explore some of the city’s most iconic neighborhoods, museums, and hidden gems, as well as nature experiences.
Among the itineraries, you’ll find visits to Mexicaltzingo, Mexican murals, historic convents, the Santuario neighborhood, the 9 Esquinas neighborhood, the city’s museums, and the Huentitán Ravine.
In addition to special options such as Cantinas with Mariachi, Legends, Discover Tlajomulco, From the City to the Ranch, and Have Fun at Selva Mágica.
Dates for the free summer sightseeing tours in Guadalajara

The tours will take place from July 21 to August 15, 2026, with departures at different times depending on the route, mainly between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Activities take place Tuesday through Saturday, and each day offers different options to choose from.

What You Should Know Before Attending

To participate, please keep these recommendations in mind:
- Please check in 30 minutes before the tour begins.
- The registration point is Plaza Guadalajara, next to the tourist information booth.
- Tours are open only to people who are present and have already registered; reservations are not allowed.
- If you arrive late, you won’t be able to join the tour once it has started.
- The program is subject to change due to logistical considerations.
