Did you know there are free legend tours through Guadalajara’s Historic Center?
The next tour is scheduled for July 3, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Jardín del Carmen, but you’ll need to arrive half an hour early to register.
On these walking tours, you’ll discover the secrets and mysteries hidden in Guadalajara, guided by experts in history and urban legends.
Warning: some of the stories might be a little scary.
Legends told during the tour

Among the most popular legends they’ll share are:
- The Lady in Mourning
- The Clock of Death
- Vampire
- The Curse of the Medrano Palace
- The Little Dwarves
- The Mexicaltzingo Highway
- Puente de las Damas

Keep in mind that the tours are on foot, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes, as well as bringing a bottle of water.
