Can you imagine observing Saturn while enjoying a cocktail? On October 21, you’ll be able to experience this for yourself.
“Cocktails and Stars” is an initiative by Tribu Astronómica that aims to bring science outreach to more people, even in the heart of the city.
This is one of eight events that will take place on various rooftops to promote astro-tourism in urban spaces.
This time, it will be held at the Tangente bar inside World Hotels in Zapopan. A unique evening that will combine astronomy, telescopes, and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. Add this event to your list of things to do in October.
What’s in store at Cocktails and Stars?

The event will run from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The evening will begin with an icebreaker activity to get to know other attendees, followed by a talk about Saturn, presented in simple language and with plenty of humor.
Then it’ll be time to look up at the sky. The Tribu Astronómica team will set up various telescopes so you can observe Saturn up close.
At each event, a team member will be on hand to guide you, teach you how to use the telescope, and tell you more about what you’re seeing.
The idea is to enjoy science without any formalities, meet people, and share a unique evening. Plus, the ticket includes a welcome cocktail, and you can order dinner at the restaurant for an additional charge.
How much does “Cocktails and Stars” cost?

Admission is $200 per person and includes a welcome cocktail. Please note that there are only 50 spots available, so we recommend booking in advance. 📲 Reservations: WhatsApp at 33 2483 4045.
