Come celebrate Chinese New Year in Guadalajara 2026 with this incredible free festival. This time, it will be held at the Jalisco Experimental Theater.
Organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Guadalajara, the event will take place on February 7, starting at 11:00 a.m. Add it to your

There will be plenty of cultural and recreational activities for the whole family to welcome the Year of the Horse.

During the event , you can enjoy a great artistic program, which includes
- Choral singing and live music
- Traditional and contemporary dances
- Poetry recital
- Group tai chi exhibition
- Music with traditional Chinese instruments such as dizi and hulusi
There will also be workshops and experiences for children and adults:

- 🏮 Ceremony to hang lanterns and make wishes

- ♟️ Traditional games, such as Chinese chess and mahjong
