Birmingham, the 1920s. Three-piece suits, flat caps, and a family that doesn’t usually go unnoticed. Tommy Shelby and his crew made the streets of this English city their own territory. Now, a century later, the soundtrack that accompanied their story is set to arrive in Guadalajara. Candlelight: Peaky Blinders will bring the series’ music to Gran Casa Xalisco for a live concert illuminated by thousands of candles. And although the dates have yet to be announced, the waitlist is already open for those who want to access the exclusive presale before the general public.
Gran Casa Xalisco

The music of Peaky Blinders has a date with Candlelight
A story set in the 1920s, but with a soundtrack that never got stuck in that decade. Contemporary rock became part of the Peaky Blinders’ identity, with songs like “Red Right Hand” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and “Do I Wanna Know?” by the Arctic Monkeys.
For one hour, Candlelight will bring the intensity of these songs to life in a live concert, with arrangements that capture the essence of the original soundtrack. It’s an opportunity to experience this music off-screen, without losing the atmosphere that made it so recognizable.
And there’s one detail about the venue that seems almost tailor-made. Gran Casa Xalisco, located in the traditional Mexicaltzingo neighborhood, was built in 1895 as a textile factory. From industrial Birmingham to a former factory in Guadalajara. The coincidence is quite something.

There is no mandatory dress code, and the minimum age to attend is 8 years old. That said, if you’ve ever wanted to pull a series-inspired outfit out of the closet, this might be a good opportunity.
Dates and tickets have yet to be announced, but Peaky Blinders fans can already get a head start. The waitlist for Candlelight: Peaky Blinders is open, and those who sign up will have exclusive access to the presale before tickets go on general sale.
