The circus is taking over Zapopan! From October 23 to 26, the 4th Zapopan International Circus Festival is coming to town, featuring free shows in plazas, parks, and cultural venues.
Over four days, there will be performances by companies from Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Spain, and Canada. You’ll find everything from clowns and comedy to contemporary circus shows.
Also, this year will mark the first edition of the Mexico Circus Market, a space to connect national projects with professionals from other countries. Add this event to your weekend to-do list.

Friday, October 23
📍 Zapopan Circus Arts Center (CACZ)
- 8:00 p.m.: *La Carpanta*, opening performance by Dúo Réquiem (Colombia).
- 9:00 p.m.: Holographic Landscapes, by Circo Eléktrico and El Periplo.
Saturday, October 24
📍 Plaza de las Américas
- 3:00 p.m.: *Amàrrable* by Collectif Foutiyayaï (Canada), *Sin Yolanda* by Zirkus Monde (Mexico), and *Calacas* by Fuoco di Strada (Mexico).
- 5:00 p.m.: *Rústico*, by Compañía Barnabó (Brazil).
- 8:00 p.m.: *Memoria de gigantes*, by Circo Eléktrico.
- 8:30 p.m.: Balburdia, by Artinerant’s (Brazil).
- 10:30 p.m.: DJ set with circus dance.
Sunday, October 25

- 4:00 p.m.: Circus Showcase in the Park, featuring three acts:

Monday, October 26

- 10:00 a.m.: Pitch session for the Mexico Circus Market.
- 1:00 p.m.: Showcase of *La Víspera* by Fragmentos (Granada, Spain).
- 1:30 p.m.: Showcase of “Who Cares for Who?” by Zed Zanzu (Barcelona, Spain).
- 8:00 p.m.: Closing show featuring “Fumaça Puro visaje” by Payaso Satín (Brazil).
How much does it cost to attend the International Circus Festival?
Admission is free! You can enjoy the announced performances without paying for a ticket.
