If you’re looking for a unique outing with the kids in Guadalajara, be sure to check out this exhibition at the Zapopan Art Museum.
Illustrator Cecilia Rébora presents Cien gatos, an exhibition created especially for children where you’ll find illustrations, prints, and pieces inspired by cats of all kinds.
The best part is that several cats are hidden throughout the museum, so the visit also doubles as an interactive scavenger hunt.

Cecilia Rébora is an illustrator from Guadalajara who specializes in children’s and young adult literature.
Her work draws on references from classic stories such as Alice in Wonderland, Puss in Boots, and The Black Cat.
Best of all, in addition to touring the exhibition, you can draw your own cat on a collaborative mural inside the gallery.
The exhibition will be on view from April 25 to July 5, 2026, and throughout May there will be special activities related to the exhibition inside the museum.
