The former Aurrera Warehouse in Colonia Americana will be given a new lease on life as a cultural center, though it will be for a limited time.
The space will be transformed into BREAKOUT: Culture in Motion, a new pop-up venue dedicated to cultural and entertainment events.
The project aims to turn this place into a gathering spot for the city, with a program that will bring together a variety of experiences over the course of a season.
The idea is for BREAKOUT to function as a traveling and temporary space, so it is not a new permanent venue.
What will the BREAKOUT cultural center offer?
This complex will come to Guadalajara to revitalize this part of Colonia Americana for a specific period.
Although the full program has yet to be announced, the project has revealed that there are already confirmed events that will be part of this first season.
There will also be events designed for the whole family to enjoy. Check back on this post in the coming days, as we’ll be sharing more details.
One of the spaces that has been abandoned for years is set to begin a new chapter—we’ll tell you more soon!
