If you’re someone who believes that any day is better with a good hotcake, you’ll want to check this out. 🥞 This Saturday, September 5, the first Pradero Hotcake Festival is coming to Guadalajara.
A celebration where several invited cafes and restaurants will create their own versions of this classic.
Here’s how it will work: admission is free; you’ll arrive at the festival, buy your tickets, and then make your way through the different stations to sample each participant’s hotcakes.
Among the options, you’ll find Manada, which will prepare a version inspired by its famous strawberries and cream; Piggyback, with a blueberry hotcake; and Rin Tin Tin, which will bring its reinterpretation of the carrot muffin to this breakfast event.

For those who prefer savory options, there will be choices as well. Pía will prepare a corn hotcake with Serrano ham, while Pradero will offer its classic combination of bacon and eggs.
And since every good festival needs something to go with the food, Sismo will be manning the bar to prepare four of its most popular drinks. ☕️
The idea is for you to try several hotcakes, visit the stations, and decide which one is your favorite. There will be places to sit, though there won’t be assigned tables or lines: you’ll be able to move around freely and enjoy the festival at your own pace.
