This weekend, you can visit Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory made from hundreds of thousands of balloons. An experience that aims to set a new Guinness World Record.
From August 29 to 31, this free exhibition, called the Willy Balloon Experience, will be on display at the University Cultural Pavilion.
An installation created by Globos Payaso using more than 800,000 latex balloons of different colors and sizes to recreate scenes inspired by the famous chocolate factory.
The decorations will be created by artists specializing in balloons and will be part of a collective artwork.

More than 200 people are involved in preparing this enormous installation, which will use about two metric tons of latex.
According to the organizers, after the event, the balloons will be reused to make products such as rubber balls and sandal soles.
The project includes a documentation and verification process in an attempt to set the Guinness World Record for “the largest number of balloons in an installation.”
There will also be an attempt to set another record for the largest number of balloons popped in a single location, so visitors will be able to participate in this part of the experience.
